Also als ich angefangen habe zu pokern, da war ich teilweise echt verwirrt. Man wird mit Abkürzungen zugespammt und versteht nichts. Mit der Zeit jedoch lernt man natürlich auch dazu und zu eurer Liste fallen mir spontant noch welche ein
ul - Unlucky (Pech)
vnh - Very nice hand (sehr schönes Blatt)
vul - Very unlucky (großes Pech)
fyi - For your information
ta - Thanks again (nochmal Danke)
str8 - Straight (Straße)
wp - Well played (gut gespielt)
Falls Ihr auch noch nicht so geläufige Abkürzungen für eure Liste benötigt, dann kontaktiert mich einfach

danke das du die abkürzungen ins netz gestellt hast. ich bin neu und mir gehts jetzt nicht anders wie es dir zu deinen anfangszeiten erging. als laie ist es wirklich nicht einfach da durchzusehen

Ich pokere mittlerweile seit Anfang 2006 Online (mit der Einführung der bekanntesten deutschen Pokerschule) und obwohl ich mittlerweile NL400 spiele, habe ich bestimmt 70-80% deiner Abkürzungen noch nie wirklich gelesen. Abkürzungen wie fyi, fyp und wp sind ja “common” Abkürzungen, aber sowas wie “ta” und “vul” benutzt doch echt absolut niemand. Dann doch eher eine Abkürzung ala “fu” :DDD

@Terence: ch sag das mal nich, es gibt genug Leute, die auch die sinnlosesten Abkürzungen nutzen, auch extra um andere zu irritieren. Und um macht zu haben. Das gibt dann wieder Selbstbewusstsein und das macht dann das Pokern schöner.
Die ganze Schose scheint an dir ja auch nicht spurlos vorbeigegangen zu sein, immerhin weißt du, was “fu” heißt. Ich mein…was soll das? Aber das fu ist ja auch nichts, was man beim Pokern sagt. “yw” kann da schon eher mal vorkommen, denk ich… soll doch ein stilvolles Spiel sein…

Man muss die Sache ja nicht überdramatisieren.
Wenn man mal new Abkürzung hat, die man nicht kennt, dann kann man sie einfach googeln und schon verfügt man auch selber über die Macht dieses Wissens ;D

Wenn mir jemand mit solchen Abkürzungen ankommt, versteh ich meistens nur Bahnhof. Aber interessant zu sehen, dass es scheinbar immer wieder Menschen gibt, die neue Chatabkürzungen erfinden. Fraglich bleibt wohl nur, ob das dann auch wirklich jeder versteht
Sehe das ähnlich wie meine Vorredner, so wirklich benutzt wird das doch niemand.

So fing alles an und schon bald gibt es auch im alltäglichen Sprachgebrauch immer mehr Verknappung. Bin gespannt, wie sich das in Zukunft verändern wird. Sprechen wir dann alle englische Chatsprache?

Ja da gibt es dann nur noch lols und rofls im deutschen Sprachgebrauch. Die Deutsche Sprache geht nach und nach unter - das ist eigentlich sauschade. Ich lege daher nicht viel Wert auf die Verbreitung neuer Kürzel. Warum sind wir eigentlich so faul geworden?

Ich denke nicht, dass die deutsche Sprache davon untergeht… Zu Goethes Zeiten haben sicher auch nicht alle das perfekte Deutsch gesprochen. Wir wollen den Teufel mal nicht an die Wand malen.
